Virtual Goods sales reach the “B” mark in the US alone

As news roles in that China’s online game revenue reached $900M in the last quarter  (an astonishing 40%+ growth rate), even more interesting is that according to the “Inside Virtual Goods” report, US virtual good sales will exceed $1B im 2010.  The Free2Play model in the West has really made the leap from “online games” to “social networking games” in a big way (as anyone following zynga would know).  Great stuff.
